For AI agents

Run Hog from your AI tools

Hog is an MCP server. Add it to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or your own agent, then set up, book briefs and read them from there.

MCP serverhttps://api.tryhog.com/mcp
  1. Create an API key

    In Hog, open Settings › API keys & agents and create a key. Copy it right away; it is shown once. A key acts as you in your workspace, so treat it like a password.

  2. Add Hog to Claude Code or your agent

    Replace <YOUR_KEY> with your key. Settings fills it in for you when you create one.

    Claude Code
    claude mcp add --transport http hog https://api.tryhog.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_KEY>"

    Claude Desktop, Cursor and the Agent SDK take the same server as JSON under mcpServers:

    JSON config
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "hog": {
          "type": "http",
          "url": "https://api.tryhog.com/mcp",
          "headers": {
            "Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_KEY>"
          }
        }
      }
    }
  3. Run the setup prompt

    In Claude Code, run /mcp__hog__setup. It walks you through your company profile, your call-takers and Calendly. Before a call, run /mcp__hog__next_call to get the brief for your next meeting.

What your agent can do

  • Set up your company profile

    Drafted from your website, then saved.

  • Add your call-takers

    The people on your team who take calls.

  • Connect Calendly

    Sends you a link to approve in your browser.

  • Book a brief

    For any prospect email, before any call.

  • Read your briefs

    List meetings, open a brief, retry one that failed.

  • Check credits

    See how many briefs you have left.

Calendly approval always happens in your browser. Your agent sends you the link; it never sees your Calendly login.

Use it from your own agent

Any MCP client works. With the Claude Agent SDK, pass Hog as an MCP server and ask in plain language. Keep the key in HOG_API_KEY.

TypeScript
import { query } from "@anthropic-ai/claude-agent-sdk";

for await (const msg of query({
  prompt: "Brief me on my next call",
  options: {
    mcpServers: {
      hog: {
        type: "http",
        url: "https://api.tryhog.com/mcp",
        headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.HOG_API_KEY}` },
      },
    },
  },
})) if (msg.type === "result") console.log(msg.result);
