Privacy Policy
Hog writes research briefs for your sales calls. This page explains, in plain language, what data we keep to do that, how long we keep it, and who helps us process it.
What we store
- Your account: your name and email address, managed through our sign-in provider, Clerk.
- Your company profile: the description of what you sell, who you sell to and the people on your team who take calls. We may draft this from your public website; you can edit it at any time.
- Your meetings: attendee names and email addresses, meeting times, and any answers the attendee gave on your booking form.
- Research and briefs: the public professional information we compile about prospects (such as profile data, recent posts, company information and news) and the briefs we generate from it.
- Credits and usage: records of the credits you have and the briefs you used them on.
- Calendly connection: if you connect Calendly, we store the access tokens it gives us. These are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
How long we keep it
Research we gather is cached so we don’t fetch it again for every brief, and it expires:

Briefs stay with your account until you ask us to delete them. Account, company profile, meeting and credit records are kept while your account is active.
Who processes data for us
We use these service providers to run Hog:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting (United States)
- Supabase: database (United States)
- Vercel: website hosting
- Clerk: sign-in and account management
- Inngest: job scheduling
- Resend: email delivery
- Anthropic: AI models that write and check briefs
- Fiber, DataMagnet, Bridgly, Exa and Firecrawl: data and research providers
- Calendly: only when you connect it
- Langfuse: AI tracing, if enabled
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data or the research we compile.
- We never contact your prospects. Briefs and “Is this them?” confirmations are sent only to you.
Your choices
To see the data we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, including briefs, email briefs@tryhog.com. If you are a prospect and want to know whether we hold research about you, or want it removed, use the same address.
